Morgan E. Gravely-Richardson, Program Director // My Story

Morgan E. Gravely-Richardson's journey in this field began in 2000 when she collaborated with Birth and Family Services, an active Supporting Living Services provider within the Regional Center. Her role included providing diverse skills training, such as daily living and social skills, meal preparation, access to community resources, and transportation support for consumers. She continued her community service as an In-Home Outreach Counselor in Family Preservation Services.
In 2003, she took a significant step by joining the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). In her current role, she assesses safety risks, develops family skills, advocates for families, submits reports to court, and ensures the well-being of children and families.
In addition, she brings to the table over 20 years of experience in child protective services, an in-depth understanding of departmental policies and procedures, and exceptional skills in investigation, analysis, oral communication, and written communication.
Mrs. Gravely-Richardson possesses the following certifications in:
- Associate Clinical Social Worker (2023) with the Cal. Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Master in Social Work (2023) from Cal. State University at Long Beach
- Bachelors in Sociology with emphasis on Human Resources from Cal. State University at Northridge
- Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator
- Universal Enhancement Course
- Direct Support Profession Training Class Year 1
